A bus with no voters -Short movie Glaufx Garland & Eleni A BUS WITH NO VOTERS -Glaufx & ELENI VM
This is an "experimental" short movie attempt. Camera by Eleni von Mondlicht, montage by Glaufx -Vigilante Music Glaufx -VMG Channel Hellas –Cinematography isn’t limited only on what most people know now days and those that they usually view at cinemas, it’s expanded far beyond the limited ways you usually see. Most people if a movie goes beyond the usual expression techniques call it “experimental” cinema. I personally don’t call it experimental but different, non-acceptable by most, but as it is known, non-acceptable isn’t necessarily experimental or not good. That’s why we say that in order to create art we never lower the level to the limits of what most people like because if we do so, we don’t create art nor evolve each kind of art and we keep on recycling the same expressional forms. This video is my 6th attempt of short movie –video- in “experimental” cinema, as far as possible from the elements of known cinema. To wit, I attempt through music and image to narrate the small story in a bus with no voters -movement and sound and some words –only these, without extensions to other, dull in my opinion, themes. I hope soon to present in a cinema these movies -videos-. For many years I’ve been thinking about why cinematography is limited on those patterns we usually see. That is all movies being constructed always by the same elements with a theatrical play, people’s conversations, some image takes that are chosen by the director and other takes of the scenery, again limited only in human activities, restricted in comedies, romance, fantasy and other well-known kinds with lots of effects, animation and more others generally known to this moment. So, a few years ago, I made my first attempt and created a full length movie –video- in 7 parts I named WATERS IN LOVE. If you want to watch them they’re uploaded on YouTube. This movie narrates through sound, color and shapes that come from my paintings, sculptures and also digital artworks combined with my music. Glaufx -VMG Channel Hellas -Ο κινηματογράφος δεν περιορίζεται μόνο σε
όσα οι περισσότεροι γνωρίζουν ως σήμερα και σε αυτα που συνήθως βλέπουν
στα σινεμά, έχει φτάσει πολύ μακριά από τον περιορισμένο τρόπο που
βλέπετε συνήθως. Οι περισσότεροι αν κάποια ταινία ξεφεύγει από τα
συνηθισμένα τον ονομάζουμε πειραματικό κινηματογράφο, αλλά αυτό
προσωπικά δεν τον ονομάζω πειραματικό αλλά διαφορετικό μη αποδεκτό από
τους περισσότερους, άλλά όπως είναι γνωστό το μη αποδεκτό δεν είναι
απαραιτήτως και πειραματικό ή όχι καλό. Για αυτό λέμε ότι για να κάνουμε
τέχνη ποτέ δεν την κατεβάζουμε στο επίπεδο του τι αρέσει στους
περισσότερους διότι αν το κάνουμε αυτό τότε δεν κάνουμε τέχνη ούτε
εξελίσσουμε την κάθε είδους τέχνη και συνεχίζουμε να αναμοχλεύουμε τα
πεπραγμένα. Το video αυτό είναι η 5η προσπάθειά μου σε μικρού μήκους
ταινία -video- στον πειραματικό κινηματογράφο, όσο δυνατον μακριά από τα
δεδομένα του κινηματογράφου όπως τον γνωρίζουμε. Δηλαδή προσπαθώ με
μουσική και εικόνα να αφηγηθώ μιά μικρή ιστορία ενός υφάσματος μιά
καμπάνας και ενός κοσμήματος με χρώματα κίνηση και ήχο -απλώς και μόνο
αυτά χωρίς προεκτάσεις σε άλλα ανιαρά κατα την γνώμη μου θέματα. Ελπίζω
συντόμως να παρουσιάσουμε σε κάποιο σινεμά τις ταινίες -video- αυτές.
Για πολλά χρόνια σκεφτόμουν το γιατί ο κινηματογραφος είναι
περιορισμένος σε αυτά τα οποία συνήθως βλέπουμε. Δηλαδή αποτελείται
πάντα από τα ίδια στοιχεία όπως ένα θετρικό διάλογοι ανθρώπων, κάποιες
λήψεις εικόνων τι οποιες επιλέγει ο σκηνοθέτης και άλλοι από το γύρω
περιβάλον πάλιι περιορισμένες και γύρω από ανθρώπινες δραστηριώτητες και
περιορίζονται σε κωμωδίες ερωτικές φαντασίας και άλλα γνωστά είδη με
πολλά effe animation αι άλλα γενικώς τα οποία έχουμε δεί και γνωρίζουμε
ως σήμερα. Έτσι λοιπον πριν μερικά χρόνια έκανα την πρώτη μου προσπάθεια
και έφτιαξα μία ταινία -video- μεγάλου μήκους σε 7 μέρη εις την οποίο
έδωσα τον τίτλο ΕΡΩΤΕΥΜΕΝΑ ΥΔΑΤΑ - WATERS IN LOVE. Τα μέρη αυτά αν
θελετε δείτε τα ανέβασα στο youtube. Η ταινία αυτή αφηγείται με ήχο
χρώματα και σχήματα τα οποία προέρχονται από πίνακες ζωγραφικής γλυπτά
αλλά και ψηφιακά έργα με μουσική μου. Με την δική μου οπτική και
ακουστική γνώμη αφηγούμαι τον έρωτα των χρωμάτων και των σχημάτων σε όσο
δυνατόν υγρή μορφή.
